Sixteen City University of Seattle alumni were among the several principals and assistant principals to have their schools recognized statewide as a School of Distinction. The state honored the Albright School of Education alumni along with others leaders from a total of 98 schools with the State of Washington Superintendent’s Learning Improvement Award. The schools also received the designation of School of Distinction.
To be considered for the award, schools had to exceed the state average performance scores in fourth, seventh and tenth grade reading and math in the Washington Assessment of Student Learning. Scores were measured in the spring.
