David Bianchini, Class of 1995, received the 2008 Washington State Assistant Principal of the Year award in February. He works at Granite Falls Middle School and helped create a slogan that reflects the school’s five core values in the community. GFMS R.O.C.K.S stands for Granite Falls Middle School Respect, Opportunity, Community, Knowledge and Service. Bianchini earned his Master of Education degree in Guidance and Counseling from the Albright School of Education.

Francisco Vega
Francisco Vega, Class of 2008, accepted a position as a banquet sales manager with Barbara Worth Golf Resort in Holtville, Calif. Vega graduated from CityU’s partner university CETYS Universidad in Mexico where he earned his undergraduate degree in Marketing Management. He also earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with an emphasis in General Management from CityU.

Roger Chikamura
Roger Chikamura, Class of 2008, was recently named the chief engineer for the Boeing Seattle Bombers and Weapons program. He will provide management oversight and leadership for several managers in engineering development, design and support. Chikamura graduated from the School of Management with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in General Management.
Anita Roth, Class of 2008, accepted Tacoma’s McKinley Elementary principal position for the 2008-2009 school year. Roth previously served as the elementary literacy facilitator for curriculum and instruction in the Tacoma Public School District. Roth graduated with her Master of Education degree and Principal Certification from the Educational Leadership program.
