
Margot Sangster
Margot Sangster, Class of 2008, published a thesis based on her work in the Master of Arts in Counseling Program in Vancouver, BC. Sangster’s book entitled Then and Now: A Woman’s Journey from Trauma to Transformation offers valuable insight on overcoming the trauma of witnessing violence as a child.
Jan Olson, City University of Seattle faculty member, recently received the Outstanding Educator Award by the Lake Washington School District PTSA. Olson has taught the leadership principal program for CityU’s Albright School of Education (ASOE) since 1995. According to ASOE Dean Emeritus Margaret Davis, Olson “has been consistently regarded for her fine instruction and for getting our leadership candidates off to a good start.”
Allan Wade, City University of Seattle in Victoria, BC faculty member, earned the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellor’ (BCACC) President Award for his distinguished service in the field. The BCACC plans to honor Wade at its annual general meeting this month. Wade teaches classes for CityU’s counseling program.
